We have a non-invasive flow meter

The measurement consists in placing the transmitter and receiver of ultrasonic waves on the pipe wall at a defined distance. The flow velocity is obtained from the sensor distance and the flow rate from the pipe cross-section.

For accurate measurements, the pipe surface must be smooth and free of rust; in some cases, the pipe must be sanded and repainted after the measurement.

The device also allows recording to determine the flow profile during the day.
